Expandable Polystyrene EPS will decompose to produce flammable gas when heated. Harmful products of combustion are carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide.
Storage note: Expanded Polystyrene EPS is Stored in a cool treasury with ventilation. Away from fire, heat source should be stored separately from oxidant, avoid mixing reservoir equipped with the appropriate variety and quantity of fire equipment. Storage areas should be equipped with appropriate materials to store leakage.
